Brant H. Smith, CPM, MBA
A 2002 Miami
University of Ohio BSBA, and 2011 Kent State University MBA graduate. Brant
practices real estate investment and management at the cross section of
business and sustainability; where his business background provides the
financial analysis and asset valuation needed to demonstrate the bottom line of
increased building performance resulting from energy efficiency and
sustainability initiatives. Brant
understands that it is both the property owners, the many small businesses, and
their employees that occupy those buildings, which make up the fabric of US
neighborhood and communities; and that ultimately these groups must work
cooperatively and strategically together in order to successfully implement sustainable
strategies.
Involved as a sustainable real estate professional
from a multi-disciplinary perspective for nearly 10 years, Brant blends the
education and practices of a commercial real estate investor, broker and leasing
expert, Certified Property Manager (CPM) as well as an integrated
sustainability solutions consultant, to bring in-house solutions for each
project and each client’s objective: whether it is a tenant’s, building
owner, or business owner.
